We are happy to announce our new project "Kindergarten to Grade 12 Without Racism: Families Lead the Way", supported by four years of funding from the Law Foundation Racial Justice grant stream. We will work with allies to end racism in BC’s public schools through community-driven research, advocacy, and law reform that centres the voices of Indigenous, Black, newcomer migrant, and racialized families with lived experience.

On Boxing Day, 2024, The Vancouver Sun published a feature article on lone mother poverty in BC titled, 'Poor but tough: How single mothers in B.C. are fighting for economic stability', by journalist Lori Culbert, featuring the CFE's Lone Mothers' Economic Inclusion project and its community-based leaders.

The CFE has partnered with Bakau Consulting to design and launch our Anti-Racism Peer-to-Peer Trainer Training program pilot this spring.
