Vibusha Madanayake - (she/her)

Vibusha Kalanee Madanayake is a dedicated development practitioner, project leader, and human rights advocate based in Prince George, BC. Her background spans international project management and advocacy focused on post-conflict development and gender-based violence in war-affected communities in Sri Lanka, alongside extensive Indigenous health and sexual health education management in Northern BC. Previously, she served the CFE in the role of northern and rural BC engagement liaison since 2022.

Vibusha holds Master of Arts degrees in Gender Studies (UNBC) and International Relations, grounding her advocacy in systemic analysis, gender, and health equity. Prior to her full-time work with CFE, she served as the Education Manager and Interim Co-Executive Director at Positive Living North. She also sits on the board of the Doula Services Association of BC as its Vice President. Outside of her professional work, she loves travelling, exploring diverse food cultures, and camping through Northern BC with her husband.
