The Centre for Family Equity is happy to announce we are one of a group of organizations funded to carry out community engagement to impact BC's anti-racism legislation and policy development with the Ministry of the Attorney General to address systemic racism in BC.
Our focus groups and engagement will focus on Indigenous mothers (lone or partnered) and Black mothers (lone or partnered).
If you do not meet this criteria and wish to participate in BC's anti-racism community engagement process, please go to the form and fill in the first question in our sign up form to let us know. We would be happy to see if we can connect you with other opportunities for participation through other organizations.
We will be holding four events in August with two for each group, with online and in-person options. In-person sessions will be held in Metro Vancouver. If you are located in a BC region, please sign up for our online options.

The events will be facilitated by a member of each group, you can leave and stop participating at any time, and all data will be 100% anonymous. We will submit a report to the Ministry of the Attorney General with our data and analysis in early fall.
